Garry is a lifelong resident of Pasadena graduating from Pasadena High School. After serving in the United States Army, with a tour of duty in Vietnam, he entered the insurance business as an agent for Farmers Insurance. He went on to found Pasadena Insurance Agency and General Insurance-Transportation Specialty.

His educational background includes attending Larry Wilson’s Paco Ranch Conference in New Mexico, the Commercial Union’s Business Insurance School in Boston, and the Advanced Agency Management Conference at Claremont College. He has also attended several special insurance course programs during his career.

Garry was a founding member of the Young Insurance Agents Committee of the San Gabriel Valley and served as president. Additionally, he was chairman of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Community Advisory Committee, served on the City of Temple City Planning Commission, and has been active in various Temple City Youth Sports Programs.

Garry joined Jackson & Jackson, Insurance Agents and Brokers in 2005. He focuses on personal and small business insurance. Garry is also the liaison between our California and Idaho offices making several trips a year to Idaho.
