Lani holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He has also completed Doctorial degree work at the University of Southern California.

Lani began his insurance career in 1980 and joined Jackson & Jackson, Insurance Agents and Brokers in 1989. The focus of his insurance career has been in the area of employee benefits for small to medium size business having successfully assisted many firms in managing and marketing their insurance benefit programs.

Lani has lived in Glendora for many years with his wife Betty. He has five children and nine grandchildren. He has served as President of the Glendora Rotary and he remains actively involved with the club and the club’s district activities. He is also a volunteer within the community of Glendora and he has been involved in many other community actives.
